I’m a mum, a wife, and a business woman. Three very different things, but – thank goodness! –with a lot of juggling, they seem to merge happily together.
Like many self-employed people, my house is not only my home – it’s my office. Its here, that I can come up with ideas, implement directives and speak to clients too, to name but a few.
I’m involved in a number of initiatives, including Southbourne on Sea Business Association, BH Innovation, Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, and the Coastal BID.
And what do all these things have in common?
The desire to rejuvenate the Bournemouth area for both its businesses and local folk alike, and a shared ambition to harvest the pool of local entrepreneurial talent that would otherwise go unnoticed.
By driving forward these very worthwhile enterprises, I’m able to put my passion for our local businesses into action. Regardless of size, turn-over and premises, I want to facilitate, encourage, and inspire business owners to make the most out of the opportunities available to them.
I believe if we make an effort to put our heads together rather than remaining wholly autonomous, we can achieve a synergy that will work to make our local business community a thriving, proactive, and enterprising hub.If you share my passion, have any interesting ideas, or would like to pick my brains about anything you’ve read on this website, please do get in touch via my contact page.
